BOYSEN® Heat Resisting Aluminum #95

DESCRIPTION:  BOYSEN® Heat Resisting Aluminum #95 is formulated for surfaces subject to heat with peak temperature of 800 °F or 427 °C.

PRINCIPAL USES: For metal surfaces of equipment, radiators and machinery.

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 20 square meter / 4 liters / coat

DRY THROUGH: Will dry when peak temperature is reached.

DRY FILM THICKNESS: 1.5-2 mils

OVERCOATING INTERVAL: Allow overnight before recoating

APPLICATION: by brush

THINNING: not necessary

PACKAGING: 4 liter cans

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Metal:
Wipe the surface with rag soaked in lacquer thinner to remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax and other foreign matter.
For rusted portions, wire brush or scrape loose rust and apply BOYSEN® Metal Etching Solution #71. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes. Be sure to wash off surface thoroughly with water or paint thinner, letting it dry before applying paint. Product should be applied immediately after treatment to prevent flash rusting.

PAINTING SCHEDULE:
Apply 2 to 3 coats of BOYSEN® Heat Resisting Aluminum #95 on bare substrate.
